MARTINOROSSI CONTROLLED SUPPLY CHAIN: THE CORN HARVEST COMES TO A CLOSE

By 7th October 2021 No Comments

After a month and a half, the corn harvest of MartinoRossi’s controlled supply chain is coming to a close in the next days. The closure is coming a couple of weeks ahead of schedule due to the decidedly favorable weather, which facilitated and simplified the whole process.

A campaign that took agronomists all around the provinces of Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, and Veneto to coordinate work both in and out of the fields, and whose qualitative results met expectations as well as provided an excellent yield.

In order to guarantee the most quality and food safety, we made use of dedicated and exclusive collection sites for our supply chains, thus avoiding any kind of contamination from gluten or allergens like soy.

This is absolutely one of the most delicate phases of the entire production process: the raw material must travel from the field all the way to our headquarters in Malagnino without being altered in any way, before then undergoing further inspections and finally moving on to the processing areas.

It’s a complex, but necessary, job that requires time, resources, and hard work and is the foundation of what we do.

Because guaranteeing safe foods is our priority.
