M-NAT: THE NEW FUNCTIONAL CLEAN-LABEL INGREDIENT MADE FROM CORN FLOUR

Our primary objective is to continuously search for new ingredients that are healthy, natural, and high performance in order to meet the needs of the food industry. Ingredients like M-NAT, MartinoRossi’s innovative corn flour, which is designed to reduce starches as a thickener, stabilizer, and gelling agent.

A clean-label product that is obviously gluten, allergen, and GMO free, obtained through a special physical treatment developed by our R&D department. Not a regular corn flour, but an exceptional natural thickener that makes it possible to improve the characteristics of the product by reducing the use of starches.

 

M-NAT prevents syneresis in condiments, sauces, and pestos, increases consistency, and improves aesthetics. In processed meats, like hamburgers and sausages, it reduces weight-loss during cooking by up to 40% and makes it possible to obtain more compact and uniform products that are extraordinarily juicy.

Characteristics that, for the producer, translate into an enormous economic benefit: in the case of condiments by considerably reducing the use of oils, and in the case of meats by increasing the water component of the product.
