MartinoRossi SpA is a leading Italian company specialized in the production of Gluten Free, Allergen Free and GMO Free Ingredients. 
MartinoRossi works everyday to assist the different needs of the food industries to become their reference partner.
Cereals, pulses and superfoods from both conventional and organic farming are transformed into Gluten Free flours, semi-finished and clean label functional ingredients.
The transformation of raw materials cultivated in a controlled supply chain guarantees complete traceability and greater food safety.

The company exports all over the world from the European Market, to the USA, to the Middle East until the Far East.

MartinoRossi SpA has two plants in Italy, one in Lombardy and one in Tuscany, for the production of gluten free cereals and legumes with no allergens. It also operates through the HunZea Supply Chain Zrt, its twin company in Hungary, with a storage facility for Gluten-Free cereals. In 2018 MartinoRossi America Inc., and its distribution platform were also established.

Our Story

A young Rossi Martino focused his interests on agricultural products. He started a logistic activity for milk, cereals, seeds, plant protection products and fertilizers.  

1988 is a turning point. Martino and his sons founded Cerealicola Rossi Srl. The first drying, cleaning, selection and storage plants for the raw materials are built, along with the collecting and management of the agricultural productions. 1994 is another important year, as the first food corn supply chain is established for a world leading cornflakes producer.

The big leap takes place in 2001, from trading agricultural products to producing flours. Therefore the first mill was built, guaranteeing high quality Gluten Free Flours from internal supply chains. Due to this strength, an important share of the European market is achieved in few years. So that the milling line capacity was doubled after few time. 

Soy and gluten products are removed and banned from the plants. It began the production of Gluten Free Ingredients, always guaranteeing no presence of any kind of allergens and GMOs.

HunZea Supply Chain Zrt is founded in Hungary. This new sister company has a pre-processing plant for the Gluten Free Cereals, always following the same guidelines of Cerealicola Rossi to guarantee a costant quality and supply of Gluten Free Ingredients.

Cerealicola Rossi returns to invests thanks to a favorable market and the high quality of its Gluten Free Flours. Therefore, the production capacity and the warehouse were doubled and the first heat-treatment equipment for flours was implemented. 

Thanks to the knowledge of the territory and farmers, the supply chain for pulses is implemented to produce new Gluten Free Flours with high proteins and fibers. In addition, another heat-treatment equipment is built. 

Cerealicola Rossi Srl becomes MartinoRossi SpA, a tribute to the founder, without changing anything: neither the objectives, nor the mission and the passion. A new Corporate Governance is born to face the new challenges. 2017 is the year of research and development, new flours-based functional ingredients are created, in order to be closer to the industrial and consumers’ needs.

The company decided to invest in Tuscany, building a new storage center for the locally produced pulses. At the same time other investments take place in the main plant for storage, preprocessing, production and a new R&D laboratory to develop new Gluten Free Ingredients. 


The company can rely on internal storage for all raw materials in the supply chains. When harvested, all cereals and pulses coming from the fields are immediately sampled.

After a thorough analysis process (humidity, mycotoxins etc), if fitting, they are sent for the following phases of cleaning and drying, according to a specific process for gluten free cereals and pulses, with no allergens and no GMOs.


Our state-of-the-art refining facilities are able to work on any particle sizes to ensure customers satisfaction. The Heat-Treatment equipments enhance the potential of Gluten Free Flours. A sophisticated mixing plant allows the creation of different mixes for different types of flours. Thanks to these processing plants, we can produce flours, semi-finished products and functional gluten free ingredients to meet our customers’ needs.
